5th September 2012

Good evening everyone,

Spring is here and what a start! Hopefully the signs of a nice hot summer to come.

1. Fancy an early Season race?

Every year the Latrobe Valley Triathlon Club kick off the local triathlon season with a great race at Hazelwood Pondage near Morwell. Yes the swim is at a Power Station but it is a fantastic tough race to put all those winter miles to the test and have a good hit out before the main races of the season are upon us. For those of you keen to enter make sure you do so quickly as there is generally only 150 spots available for the race on the 30th September. Full details can be found at http://www.lvtriclub.com.au/index.php/home

2. Good Luck!

Good Luck to Wendy Robinson this weekend in the 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas! All the very best Wendy for the race and enjoy the post-race party afterwards!

G’day Team,

This week we want to dedicate the Wednesday Wrap to Bike Etiquette and Safety.Zoey Saunders braced

As many of you will know by now, last weekend Zoey Saunders was seriously injured as she returned from her weekly long ride from Frankston. Just prior to her arrival at home, Zoey’s front wheel became lodged in a tram track and she was thrown from her trusty stead.

Zoey has been left with a fractured back (12th Vertebrae)  that will require around 3 months to heal. As you can see from the photo attached Zoey is in great spirits which is wonderful to see! Thank you to all that have taken the time to visit and say hi or send a message! If you want to send a message we know she would love to hear from you -  0419 228 473.

We would also like to share with you a very comprehensive document put together by the team at tour de cure that highlights the etiquette and safety of group riding. A must read! -  http://www.tourdecure.com.au/uploads/bunchriding.pdf

 Take care on the roads,

 Jimmy, Kane and Matty
