Noosa 2011 - 'My Ironman'

It all started in November 2010, following my completion of the swim leg at the Noosa Triathlon 2010. So I had done the 40km bike leg in 2009, barely 6 months after my double lung transplant, and then 18 months after the transplant the 1.5km swim.

Flying into Rockhampton was a very different sight to the beginning of the year. It was very dry and everyone was looking for rain. The people from the Capricorn Resort was there waiting to transfer us to the Resort.

Sydney Marathon 2011

I flew to Sydney for the marathon on Friday evening. The plan was to pick up my race bib from Hyde Park on Saturday and then have a nice relaxing time until the marathon on Sunday, although Tia and I did end up spending several hours walking around Sydney doing the 'tourist' thing.

70.3 World Champs 2011

Before I launch into my World Champs experience I wanted to start with a quote sent to me from some great friends:

Melbourne Marathon 2011

Hi all

Thought I would write a little report on the weekend's Melbourne Marathon before I have to go back to work and I forget all the different stages I went through.
