1. Ironman New Zealand - It's Race Week!
6 of the crew have headed over the ditch this week to take on Ironman New Zealand. Making their Ironman debut are Sadie Carr, Jo Krause and Garfy Jones. Dave Limon is heading over for IM number 2. They will be joined by Trifitness's Ambassador to Auckland Oli Horn who is also pulling the aero helmet on for his first tilt at the Big Dance and Perth based Bec Finlayson who is heading over for IM number 2. Thanks also to the support crew making the journey, Monique Mac Neill, Karin Limon and Sue Horn!

2. Rottnest Channel Swim
Congratulations to Warrick "Stebbo" Steabben who headed over to WA to compete in the annual Rottnest Channel swim last week-end. It's a 19.7km swim from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island. Stebbo got the job done in a team and is now probably down south of Perth sampling some of the regions finest vines! Next week we might have a little report and a few pics for everyone.
3. Pier to Perignon and Half Moon Swim
A shout out to the crew that took on Pier to Perignon last week-end. Nick Desira, Anna Theobald, Stebbo, Matty Hodgson and Tim Botteril who finished 15th in a field of 700+!!).
We also hear there was a race within the race with Anna fired up for revenge on Matty this year...... Reports back from the beach were that after 4km of swimming Anna stood up on the beach in front (by a metre!)...... Matty not to be beaten may have employed some questionable tactics in the sprint up the beach to pip Anna at the line and make it 2 wins in 2 years, can't wait for 2013 guys!

Down at Half Moon Bay in Black Rock we had Joni New Lungs and Ahmed Sowaid take on the 3km, great job guys! New Lungs is training for the Escape from Alcatraz swim in San Francisco mid year and Ahmed will be on the start line at Ironman Melbourne next month!
