TriFitness coaches are all highly qualified and many are specialists in their chosen fields. Although their backgrounds vary, they all share the TriFitness philosophy and are proven at helping participants to achieve personal goals and ultimate health and fitness.

Not only do our 6 elite coaches have over 100 years of competitive experience in the sport of triathlon, they also have an extensive background in coaching not only for the general public and beginner triathletes but also to those who are looking for that competitive edge.

James Mundy

  • > Completed in 12 Ironman Races worldwide, including 2 Hawaiian Ironman events
  • > Competed in 5 Marathons worldwide, including 2 Boston Marathons
  • > Motivational and Goal Setting Public Speaker
  • > Event Commentator, including Melbourne Marathon & Orbea Triathlon series 
  • > Coached and trained individuals and exercise groups over a 15 year period, from general population to elite athletes

 

Kane Malherbe

John Van Wisse

Tom Jepson

Matthew Dusting

  • Matthew Dusting> Qualified Level One Triathlon coach
  • > Competed in and finished 5 Ironmans (all sub 10 hours) and 5 Half Ironmans  
    > 9 hour 30 min Ironman debut in 2006, Hawaii Ironman 2008 (9 hrs 47 mins)
    > 1st Ager Grouper and 12th overall at Singapore Ironman 70.3 , 2008 (fastest bike and run split)
